Skills Assessment & Graduate Services Advisor – Oxford, UK
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Skills Assessment & Graduate Services Advisor will act as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for all Skills Assessment and Graduate enquires. Working alongside key stakeholders, the post holder will be responsible for providing a first-class experience for potential students and supporting our Alumni in finding airline employment.
ROLE DUTIES – Skills Assessment
- In conjunction with the marketing team, to plan dates for regular Skills Assessments, ensuring that sufficient assessments are carried out to meet our sales targets.
- Manage external Assessor availability, booking their time as required, and approving their monthly invoices.
- Oversee application process and help with any skills enquiries.
- To be responsible for all associated Skills Assessment administration, organise each assessment, communicating with candidates in advance, ensuing they are prepared and have all relevant information.
- Set up for each assessment, ensuring all Assessors have the necessary paperwork.
- To run each Skills Assessment, working with the Customer Experience team to provide a first class experience.
- Alongside the external Assessors, to conduct elements of the assessment process as required, not limited to interviews and group exercises
- To manage the Modular and UMap Skills Assessment, assessing candidates at each stage of the process.
- Set up and analyse online aptitude tests results.
- Store and monitor all assessment feedback to identify trends from the assessment stage in flight training.
- Ensuring a robust standardisation procedure for all Skills Assessors, training new Assessors where appropriate
- To manage the relationship with the external suppliers of assessment tools
- Deliver welcome presentation to new starters on their first day at the academy
- Act as the point of contact for all Leading Edge Aviation graduates
- Organise the Graduate Services course and refresher courses
- Send out communications to graduates based on the graduate communication strategy
- Keep in regular contact with all graduate’s progress and job status, respecting GDPR at all times.
- Screen/proofread CV’s and cover letters, offering advice and support where necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise of recruitment and selection activities including aptitude and personality testing/profiling
- A willingness and ability to contribute to a range of assessment activities.
- Proven experience in building relationships on the phone, online and in person.
- Expertise in developing new courses and products and a strong desire to innovate.
- Exceptional organisation skills.
- Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
