The Lead Multi Crew Cooperation Instructor (MCCI) is a current qualified MCCI capable of delivering all APS MCC lessons, both in the Simulator and classroom, and managing the associated tasks regarding course scheduling and training administration.

The Lead MCCI will be responsible for all aspects of ensuring the delivery of our APS MCC courses, (encompassing scheduling of courses, allocating students and MCCIs to lessons, liaising with students) and oversight of the sim centre and associated FSTDs

Role Duties 
  • Delivering a minimum of 3 lessons per week (a mix of ground school and simulator lessons)
  • Liaising with contractor MCCIs to obtain availability
  • Planning the APS MCC schedule and entering it onto Private Radar
  • Liaising with APS MCC students in advance of their course to ensure they are prepared and aware of the planned schedule
  • Responsible for the issue and recovery of the VR headsets, to be issued to students in advance of the course
  • Planning and carrying out MCCI standardisation in conjunction with current nominated standards MCCI
  • Ensuring all courseware is managed and updated in liaison with original development team
  • Oversight of all FSTD maintenance
  • Oversight and participation in all FSTD subjective and objective quarterly testing
  • Management of the quarterly subjective testing procedures
  • Assist in ongoing utilisation of new technologies for use including further development work on our VR tool
  • Develop current or additional courses as required to reflect changes in Regulations, relationships with Airlines or introduction of new FSTDs
  • Oversight of the sim centre, managing infrastructure and FSTDs
  • Support any aspect of procuring new FSTDs as directed by COO/HoT
  • Support any initiatives to expand and grow aspects of the business that are dependent on use of FSTDs
  • Any other duties required by HoT and/or COO from time to time

  • Core Competenciess 
  • Current UK CAA qualified MCCI
  • A320 and/or 737 experience (minimum of 2 years, 2 years’ experience to be in the last 3 years to ensure knowledge of current Airline Operations)
  • Demonstrable experience as an MCCI delivering APS MCC courses
  • Desirable
  • Current type rating on A320 or737
  • Dual UK/EASA MCCI qualification (or other suitable qualification ie TRI)
  • Previous simulator training management experience
