Pilot Training Bursary Programme

The Leading Edge Bursary Programme is open.

Three awards of £20,000, £10,000 and £5,000 are now available for student pilots joining the Leading Edge Airline Preparation course before May 2020.

LEAP® is a full time, integrated ATPL course which takes aspiring pilots from zero aviation experience to airline-ready and even includes a BSc. You’ll achieve your professional qualifications, plus degree, and we’ll support you every step of the way into your first role as an airline First Officer.

To be eligible for an award, please make sure you fulfil the criteria in the T&Cs below and then book a Leading Edge Skills Assessment Day. This day will be a comprehensive assessment of your potential to become a successful airline pilot and is required for all LEAP® entrants. You can find out what the process involves, and how to prepare for it here.

For the duration of this year’s Bursary Programme, every successful LEAP® applicant will be entered into a ballot for a bursary award. Three recipients will be selected at random, by software, from all LEAP® students who fulfil the criteria and who begin their course before May 2020.

If you’d like more information about bursary programme, or would like to find out about our fresh approach to training the next generation of airline pilots, please get in touch.
