Our fair-weather base in Alhama de Murcia enjoys over 300 days a year of glorious sunshine, providing optimum flying conditions from dawn to dusk and allowing students to fully maximise their training time.

Training Facilities at Alhama Airport
As a leading pilot school in Spain, our Alhama Campus is conveniently situated at Alhama de Murcia Airport and features a full-length parallel taxiway, a modern operations and planning building with crew facilities. The Leading Edge Aviation Alhama Campus offers a substantial apron and hangar that houses our fleet of aircraft.
We have exclusive training use of the airfield and a dedicated operations team to ensure that our flight operations are maximised during all hours of daylight. The location is ideal for foundation flight training with flat terrain and large open areas for our students to develop their flying skills in a perfect training environment.
Condado de Alhama Accommodation
During their time at our Alhama Campus, students will live in first-class accommodation just minutes away, in the prestigious Condado de Alhama Golf Resort. The fully furnished, two-bedroom, one-bathroom, air-conditioned, self-catered apartments benefit from 24-hour on-site security and a dedicated car parking space.
Our students can enjoy a range of impressive on-site social and leisure facilities including a Jack Nicklaus golf course, more than 20 swimming pools, outdoor and indoor gyms, 5-a-side pitches, sports courts, bars, restaurants, shops and boutiques.
We operate a dedicated minibus service to transport students to and from the airport and organise regular trips to nearby beaches, water parks, and hiking trails. Although there is a supermarket on-site at Condado, we also arrange visits to a larger local supermarket at least twice a week for greater choice and convenience.
Local Area surrounding Alhama, Southern Spain
The local town of Alhama and cities of Murcia and Cartagena are just a short drive from our campus and are also served by excellent public transport. Students can immerse themselves in the local culture, which is a fantastic introduction to their future careers in aviation and travel. Other local towns include Mazarrón and Torrevieja, and the city of Alicante is within a comfortable driving distance.
Local beaches and mountain ranges are beautiful, plentiful, and within easy reach, meaning downtime in between flights can be spent exploring the local coastlines and enjoying water sports.
