Leading Edge Aviation launch in house aircraft engineering facility, Leading Edge Aviation Engineering.

Leading Edge Aviation announce the launch of the latest addition to their growing fleet of facilities with the introduction of an in-house engineering and maintenance division, Leading Edge Aviation Engineering. The function brings many benefits and efficiencies to the growing company whose fleet now stands at 14 Diamond aircraft. The new facility will be housed in their dedicated hangar at London Oxford Airport and will be headed up by Chief Engineer John Gorran.

Chief Operations Officer Dave Alexander commented “This new facility will enable us to increase efficiencies across the board, having engineers on site means we can both streamline our regular maintenance and also react quickly to unplanned requirements. We’re also delighted that John will be heading up the division for us and look forward to putting his extensive Diamond experience into practice”

The addition of the new hangar and engineering facility comes on the back of a strong period of growth by Leading Edge who recently announced their new student accommodation block, The Arc. This follows on from the introduction of their new sim centre, Hangar 18 which houses their A320 FTD-1 simulator and two DA42 simulators.
