Leading Edge Aviation are thrilled to announce another exciting pilot recruitment opportunity for their current students. easyJet, one of Europe’s leading airlines is extending conditional offers to Leading Edge students post ground school in preparation for Summer 2025.
This exciting opportunity allows Leading Edge students to secure a conditional job offer from easyJet upon completing their ground school training. To benefit from this, Leading Edge students can have no more than five resits, must be graduating before November 2024 and must pass an external easyJet assessment (dates to be confirmed).
This announcement comes following a detailed and informative visit from Dale Barrell, Talent Acquisition Business Partner from easyJet (pictured below with LEAL students). He expressed enthusiasm, stating “We’re delighted to be able to offer further assessment opportunities to Leading Edge graduates in the coming months in preparation for Summer 2025.”
Andy McFarlane, CEO of Leading Edge Aviation, further emphasised the significance of this opportunity stating that “being tagged by easyJet post-ground school is a further testament to the quality of education and preparation that our students receive at Leading Edge Aviation.” He added that “it is a testament to our ‘Whole Pilot’ approach which not only highlights and teaches technical proficiency, but also the importance of crucial interpersonal skills and industry readiness.”
Furthermore, Leading Edge Aviation takes pride in sharing that in the last five months alone, nearly 30% of Leading Edge graduates, who have secured jobs, have landed roles with EasyJet and have since started their Type Rating. This remarkable achievement further emphasises the strong relationship that Leading Edge have built with easyJet, as well as the proven track record in placing graduates in prestigious airline roles.
