Dual licensing goes live at Leading Edge Aviation

Dual licensing goes live at Leading Edge Aviation

Leading Edge Aviation announce the introduction of dual licensing options for their suite of ATPL professional pilot training courses.

As the industry continues to show ‘green shoots’ with airlines announcing recruitment drives, the Oxford based ATO who offer both UK CAA and EASA licences to its students, are now able to offer training with the option to achieve a dual UKCAA and EASA licence.

Head of Training, Captain Stephen Rees commented “It’s important that we support all our students in achieving the licence that will best serve them as they enter their chosen career paths. With a growing student population, we have been supporting both licenses individually for some time, but are pleased that our students can now have a licence that enables them to fly for both UK CAA and EASA airline operations – giving them the very best chance at securing the right role for them as the industry opens up again”

The dual licensing applies to all aspects of training including both the ground school theoretical knowledge and flight training phases. Their experienced instructor teams combine many years of knowledge and practical experience that span both syllabuses, enabling them to seamlessly deliver all aspects of the two licences. This announcement follows their recent growth, introducing both in-house engineering facilities and new professional student accommodation.
