Terms and Conditions

1. The prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) is open to people aged 18 and over who provide their details to find out more about our uMAP courses. To enter the Prize Draw you must complete the online enquiry form.
2. Only students of BNU & UWL studying for a commercial pilot studies degree may enter the Prize Draw, any other entries will be deemed invalid.
3. Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
4. Only one entry per eligible student is permitted, duplicate entries will be removed. No purchase is necessary. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the Prize Draw, please e-mail competition@leadingedgeaviation.com.
5. The opening date for entries is 9am on 12/02/21. The closing date of the prize draw is 6pm on 07/03/21. Entries received after this time will not be considered. One winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed at random. The draw will take place on 10/03/21.
6. The winner will receive the prize of a one hour flight (plus briefing & debrief, please be prepared to be with us for 2-3 hours) in our A320 flight simulator accompanied by a Leading Edge Aviation sim operator.
7. A maximum of 1 additional guest will be allowed to accompany the prize winner. This is subject to change in line with Covid protocols.
8. Leading Edge Aviation accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize. i.e. prize winners will be required to arrange their own transport to and from the Leading Edge Aviation simulator centre. Leading Edge Aviation accepts no liability for costs of travel or additional costs incurred.
9. The winner will be notified by email or phone (using the details provided at entry) on or before 12/03/21.
10. If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Leading Edge Aviation shall be entitled to select another winner.
11. Leading Edge Aviation accepts no responsibility for winner’s ability to accept the prize.
12. The prize will be subject to Leading Edge Aviation Covid protocols and government restrictions which may affect when the prize can be taken.
13. Leading Edge Aviation retains the right to extend the competition end date if required.
14. The prize must be taken by 31/12/21.The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
15. Leading Edge Aviation retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar experiential value in the event the original prize offered is not available.
16. The winner may be required to participate in publicity related to the prize draw which may include the publication of their name and photograph in our social media channels.
17. Leading Edge Aviation shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, Covid restrictions, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
18. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
