Leading Edge Aviation Celebrates 18 Students and Graduates Securing Job Offers from easyJet Following Intensive Pilot Recruitment Drive

​Leading Edge Aviation are delighted to share that 18 of their students and graduates have received job offers from easyJet in the past week. This comes as a direct result of two intense days of pilot recruitment at their Oxford Campus.

Dale Barrell, Talent Acquisition Business Partner at easyJet, visited the academy last month and announced plans to tag and recruit a large number of Leading Edge graduates in time for Summer 2025. easyJet will not only be recruiting Leading Edge graduates, but also tagging successful students who are ready to fly for easyJet by Spring 2024.

Following two intense days of easyJet pilot recruitment, Leading Edge Aviation is thrilled to announce that 18 of their students and graduates have secured job offers. This group includes 5 recent graduates and 13 current students who have been tagged by easyJet and received conditional job offers.

Dale Barrell, Talent Acquisition Business Partner at easyJet, commented on the assessment days “It was our pleasure to come along to Leading Edge to meet some of their Integrated ATPL students and assess them for future roles at easyJet. We can’t wait to welcome some of them on board soon.”

Alistair Smith, Graduate Services Manager at Leading Edge Aviation was particularly thrilled by the news, stating that “it’s wonderful to see so many happy students who have procured a conditional job offer with easyJet, before they’ve even finished training; it’s a testament to their hard work.” Andy McFarlane, CEO of Leading Edge Aviation shared this excitement, emphasising that “this fantastic news not only highlights the exceptional talent and dedication of our students and graduates, but also underscores the strengthened relationship between Leading Edge and easyJet. Together, we are paving the way for the next generation of aviation professionals.”
